The RBIS program continues to promote the importance of literacy by providing an incentive for children ages 5-12 to read throughout the year.

Several hundred public libraries throughout Connecticut participate each year.  Through RBIS, the Rock Cats reward young readers with a voucher redeemable for a Reserved Seat to a Summer Reading Recognition Night game at the New Britain Stadium.  A great complement to any summer reading program! Whatever your theme, you'll be sure to hit a homerun with the Rock Cats' RBIS program - an excellent way to reward your summer reading participants!
